WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY
Sarah C, Orono, ON
"I have been receiving regular botox injections from Dr. Majeed for nearly 5 years, for the treatment and prevention of migraines and cosmetically to prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Dr. Majeed is absolutely AMAZING! If you’re considering botox, whether for migraines or cosmetic purposes, I highly recommend having your treatments done with Dr. Majeed. Aside from her knowledge and skill in botox placement and injections, she shows genuine care & concern surrounding my treatments. She listens to me and never ignores my own thoughts, experience, or feelings surrounding my treatments. I feel safe (and beautiful— bonus!) with Dr. Majeed. "
Rachel S, Bowmanvile, ON
“I have been going to Dr Majeed for botox for a year and a half and am always extremely satisfied with the results. I have been getting forehead injections for my migraines which has helped tremendously. I also get cosmetic botox for my crows feet and jowls, and have noticed great results. Dr Majeed takes the time to listen to your concerns, and injects the right amount for your needs. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering botox for medical or cosmetic use to see Dr Majeed."

"If you are considering Botox, I strongly recommend you contact Dr. Majeed. I have been receiving Botox injections from Dr. Majeed since 2018, and I couldn't be happier with the results. As a "first -time Botox user" I had several questions and concerns, Dr. Majeed patiently and skillfully took the time to answer each one. It was definitely reassuring to know that an experienced medical professional ( Family Doctor) was performing my injections. I always feel that I am in good hands with Dr. Majeed! I also appreciate that Dr. Majeed works within my budget, and I never feel pressured to spend more than I am able too. Botox has helped to improve fine lines on my face, and boost my confidence. It has also helped to reduce my migraines. I would recommend Dr. Majeed to my friends and family. I am confident that you will not be disappointed. "
Botox® for Migraine Prevention
By relaxing underlying muscles, Botox® very effectively prevents facial migraines and tension headaches from occurring.
This is a very good option for patients who have not had much relief from traditional migraine medications, are taking migraine medication too often (which may be dangerous) or who have intolerable side effects to these traditional medications.
Many third party insurance companies cover the cost of Botox® for migraine prevention.
Botox® for Cosmetic Treatment
A prescription medicine that is injected in small amounts to temporarily relax muscles in the face in order to reduce/eliminate overlying skin wrinkles and fine lines.
Although the effects initially last about 3-6 months, over time the treated muscles “learn” not to make the facial expression that caused the wrinkle, resulting in long lasting effect.
DID YOU KNOW…
Botox® injections take only 15-30 minutes
No downtime required. Minimal side effects/risk. Most patients are able to return to work within 20 minutes after the procedure.
Most patients notice improvements within the first 2-5 days after their Botox® treatment but optimal effects are typically seen 2-3 weeks after the treatment.
Some people are concerned they will look “frozen” after a treatment. That should never happen with good injections. The goal is to produce a look that is well rested and relaxed. Many people look 5 years younger after their treatment.
Botox® has been used for medical and aesthetic purposes for over 20 years and has been well studied/tested and proven to be very safe.
Botox® for cosmetic and migraine purposes typically lasts 3-4 months, but if you keep up with your treatments on time every 3-4 months, effects should start to last longer and longer such that you can increase the duration between visits. Botox® for Hyperhidrosis can last for up to 6-12 months.
Botox® for Axillary Hyperhidrosis
(excessive underarm sweating)
Botox® is incredibly effective at reducing and often eliminating underarm sweating such that patients can often stop wearing potentially harmful carcinogenic deodorants and antiperspirants altogether.
